Real Instagram comments Criticizing Kirk Cameron

Former Growing Pains star Kirk Cameron is being criticized on social media like for example Instagram and getting some real Instagram comments on his posts after making controversial comments about Hurricanes Irma and Harvey.

In a video he uploaded to his Facebook page on Friday, September 8, the evangelical Christian opened up about the natural disasters.

The real Instagram comments were caused by what he said in this video: “How should we look at two giant hurricanes coming back-to-back like this?” is what Kirk said in the video that he recorded at the airport in Orlando, Florida. “Do we write them off as coincidence? Do we write it off as a statistical anomaly? Wow! Who would’ve thought? Is it just Mother Nature in a bad mood? I don’t know how you think about it but I think it could be something much more than all of that.”

He continued by quoting a section from the Bible and said that hurricanes are “a spectacular display of God’s immense power. When he puts his power on display, it’s never without reason,” he sustained. “There’s a purpose. And we may not always understand what that purpose is, but we know it’s not random and we know that weather is sent to cause us to respond to God in humility, awe and repentance.”

We can see real Instagram comments on this post, in which some are agreeing with his opinion, but the majority recalcitrant and opposite his point of view. One of the defending wrote “People are mad because the truth hurts…. these are the last days weather they like it or not! These things are not coincide….” but another says “You say that when your house is blown away to pieces and people you love are endangered/killed.”

There are many Christians on the popular social platform because between the real Instagram comments we can find this one as well “”If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.” John 15:18-19 God bless man!”
