Audrey Roloff and Jeremy Roloff had a baby shower

Audrey Roloff had her baby shower together with family and friends on Friday and spoke up about the exciting expectation surrounding her first child with husband Jeremy Roloff.

The pair shined as they posed with Jeremy’s mother, Amy, at the celebrations. Audrey glowed while wearing an embellished baby blue dress, while the papa-to-be dressed casually in a white shirt with dark shorts.

I've been learning a lot from @jeremyroloff about gentleness. He is not quick to lash out, react, or demand. He is kind, patience, and gentle. Me on the other hand… gentleness is not one of my strengths😅 It's not natural for me to live "with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” Ephesians 4:1-2 I have to remind myself of this verse often and the Lord is constantly convicting to demonstrate MORE gentleness. Especially in my marriage, I so often fall into the trap of wanting to be right, more than striving to bear fruit. I'm often guilty of wanting to prove a point, more than desiring to promote unity. And I don't think I'm the only one who needs this reminder… So many of our marriages, families, churches, and friendships today are not displaying gentleness. And with all the hurt and brokenness abouding in our world, we need more people who are gentle. Gentleness is a result of self-control. It’s not reactionary, it’s a thoughtful and considerate response. Gentleness meets people where they are at, rather than yanking them with impatient persistence to where you stand. We are called to speak the truth with gentleness and respect. The Little People, Big World star, whose daughter is expected to arrive on September 1, publicized that although she and her hubby are apprehensive about the approaching arrival, they are also enjoying these last few weeks alone together as much as they can. “I’d say we’re very excited, but there are definitely some nerves that come along with it!” Audrey said. “At this point, we’re just trying to relax and bring some calm back into our life. Jer has the house almost all wrapped up, so now we’re looking forward to spending these last few days just the the two of us.”

The future mum shared that one of her favorite parts about pregnancy has been experiencing it with her devoted husband. “You know, one of the best things about big milestones in life is being able to do them alongside your spouse,” she said. “Jeremy has been so patient with me during this process. I really couldn’t imagine doing it without him. I have full confidence that when I need something, or even just want a scoop of ice-cream, that he’ll be off the couch and getting it before I finish my sentence. I feel loved and am thankful for a husband like Jeremy.”

We live in an age where commitment is resisted. Marriage and it's fruit is frowned upon because it demands sacrifice – but nothing worth having doesn't require sacrifice. Men, there are a million beautiful, smart and strong women out there waiting for a man, not a boy. Often the distinction is pursuit and commitment. If you find a women worth marrying, make her feel worth marrying! Culture promotes men cowering in corners because they find more pleasure in pride than pursuit. The women of your dreams is often on the other side of a long, sometimes hard and difficult pursuit. Denial is apart of life, but a woman worth marrying is worth patiently and purposefully pursuing – and she's likely waiting for that man to show up. "For he who finds a wife finds a good thing." Speaking of sweets, when questioned about any crazy pregnancy cravings, the reality star told us, “I haven’t had very many, surprisingly. I craved sour candy in the beginning and have consistently craved sparkling drinks, but other than that no big cravings…which makes Jeremy’s life a little easier, given all his house projects!”
